SPORTS RECAP: Senior Girls Curling- Road to ROPSSAA Championships

On Monday February 27th, Mayfield's Senior Girls Curling team continued on their path to the ROPSSAA Championships. The girls squared off against St. Aloysius Gonzaga C.S.S. in the quarterfinals. Mayfield won the game 7-5 which advanced them to the semifinals.

Mayfield travelled back to Brampton Curling Club on Friday March 3rd to face off against Loyola C.S.S. in the semifinals. Mayfield dominated the game as they won 15-0.

The ROPSSAA Finals took place on Monday March 6th at Brampton Curling Club. Mayfield and Cardinal Leger went head to head. Mayfield came up on top winning 12-4 which crowned Mayfield ROPSSAA Champions.

Mayfield's Senior Girls Curling team will travel to North Bay for the OFSAA Championships from March 22nd to 25th. Good Luck Girls! Mayfield is proud of you and all your hardwork!
