Mayfield Alumni In Action: Taylor Raddysh

Have you been watching the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships over the break? Did you know that one of the team's young stars used to attend Mayfield? Well, you do now.

Team Canada's Taylor Raddysh attended Mayfield for two years before he was drafted by the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League. Raddysh is a rising star in the league as he was the league's leading scorer before he headed off to the World Junior Championships. 

Raddysh made national headlines this week when he scored four goals in Canada's game against Latvia on Thursday.

Taylor Raddysh is currently tied for 6th in World Junior scoring with five goals and one assist in four games.


Team Canada will play in the Quarterfinals on Monday January 2nd against the Czech Republic at 8pm. The game will be broadcasted on TSN.
