Canada took the lead early going up 2-0 before the halfway point in the first. The second period sparked an American comeback as we headed into the third period tied 2-2. The Canadians regained their two-goal lead before the Americans stormed right back once again. A twenty minute 5-on-5 overtime period was played which solved nothing. The Gold Medal game was headed to a shootout. In heartbreaking fashion, the Americans took the gold in a skills competition.

The Canadians played an amazing tournament leaving with the silver medal and heads held high.

Taylor Raddysh finished the tournament with five goals and one assist for six points in seven games. Raddysh was second in power play goal scoring with three goals.

Raddysh will head back to Erie to rejoin the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League who sit third in the Western Conference heading into the second half of the season. Raddysh sits third in league scoring with 23 goals and 38 assists for a total of 61 points in just 28 games played.
