Flag Football: Mayfield (2-1) vs. Humberview (2-1)

Mayfield and Humberview both look to extend their two game win streak to three this week. The Mayfield girls opened their season on September 22^nd with a 12-9 loss against St Michael but have come roaring back taking the next two games 21-14 against Robert F. Hall on September 27^th and 6-0 against St. Thomas Aquinas on September 30^th. Mayfield looks to capture the win before playing in a full day tournament where they hope to bring home the gold. Mayfield’s home opener is October 12^th against Cardinal Leger. Mayfield currently sits in 3^rd in the North Division, just two points back of 1^st.

                                                              

Junior Boys Football: Mayfield (0-2) vs. St. Thomas Aquinas (1-0)

Location: Mayfield

The Mayfield Junior Boys hope to capture their first win of the season with a win against St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday. The boys opened their season on September 22^nd against David Suzuki resulting in a 22-12 loss. On the 29^th, the boys played St. Roch in a game that led to a 30-0 loss. The Mayfield boys look to come charging back with plenty of scoring this week in their first of two games this season against Aquinas. The boys hope to see and hear lots of Mayfield Spirit in the stands for their second and last home game of the season.
